Psychological Expert witness
I specialise in providing a wide range of Psychological/Mental Health Assessments and Medico legal reports of children, adults and adolescents for both private and legal aid (LAA) funded work across the U.K. I am willing to undertake work that requires travel within the U.K.
I undertake work at the standard legal aid rates for Legal Aid work and assessments of children, adolescents, adults, parent and multiple family member assessments. I have written medico legal reports involving Personal injury, Family Law & Care Proceedings, Criminal Law, Clinical Negligence, Immigration, Employment Law, Cognitive, PTSD, Mood disturbance, Risk assessment, and Learning difficulties.
I undertake private instructions for assessments and medicolegal reports. My private hourly rate differs from Legal Aid and is based upon the type of work required.

My Experience
l am a BPS and HCPC Chartered Counselling Psychologist. I started working independently as a Psychologist and an Expert Witness in 2013. I have undertaken a range of psychological assignments including civil, criminal, employment tribunal, family, immigration work and ADOS 2 Gold Standard Assessments.
In my clinical practice, I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, adults and families with a broad range of conditions and difficulties.
I have a wide experience as an Expert Witness of undertaking assessments and preparing reports to high professional standards for the Criminal, Civil and Family Court both Public and Private, Immigration cases and Employment Tribunals.
I have undergone training as a Health Professional Expert Witness with the gold standard Bond Solon Expert Witness Training. I regularly undertake CPD training and am happy to provide my CV detailing my qualifications and experience.
I have extensive experience of assessing a wide range of mental health problems by psychometric objective assessments and by clinical interview. I am qualified in psychometric testing and have expertise in administering and interpreting a wide range of tests.
Languages
I am multilingual in a number of South Asian languages and have undertaken psychological assessments in English, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.
Timescales
My report turnaround time is 2-5 weeks from when the initial instruction is received to assessment and compiling the report. If required, I can work quickly and efficiently and provide medico-legal reports in less than two weeks.
